Rose Hollermann grew up in Minnesota where she spent her time fishing, hunting and above all, playing basketball. She has been playing competitively since 2008 and by 2011, she was known across the Women’s Wheelchair Basketball world as one of the youngest rising stars. At only 15 years old, Rose won a gold medal at the ParaPan American Games, with a repeat performance the following year. Not long after, she joined team USA at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games where she took home another gold medal. With a decade of wheelchair basketball under her belt, she’s ready for her next challenge: College.

Rose recently graduated from the University of Texas (UTA) playing for the Movin’ Mavs and can now be found playing with RSV Lahn-Dill. When she’s not on the courts, Rose spends her time giving back to the wheelchair basketball community through leading relocation of adaptive equipment to third world countries.

Career Highlights

• 3-Time Paralympic Medalist: Captured Gold at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, Bronze at Tokyo 2020, and Silver at Paris 2024 as an indispensable leader for Team USA.
• International Powerhouse: Led Team USA to gold medal finishes at multiple Parapan American Games and world championship platforms, consistently ranking among the top scorers and distributors in international competition. Most recently, led Team USA Women's team at the IWBF World Championships to a Gold Medal finish.
• Collegiate Dominance: Starred for the University of Texas at Arlington Movin' Mavs, leading the program to national championship titles while earning individual NWBA Intercollegiate MVP and Academic All-American honors.
• Phenom Legacy: Selected to the U.S. Women's National Team pipeline as a teenager, becoming one of the youngest athletes ever to represent USA Wheelchair Basketball on the Paralympic stage.
