Inducted into the NWBA Hall of Fame in 2024, Hunter is a veteran co-captain for the USA Women's National Wheelchair Basketball Team renowned for her strategic court vision, defensive tenacity, and masterclass chair positioning as a 1.0 classification player. Off the hardcourt, she holds a PhD in Social Work, serves as a university educator, and leads national initiatives to expand access and mentorship for women and girls in wheelchair sports.
