By breaking away from traditional circular tubing, the Natural-Fit architecture uses a two-piece modular design featuring an oval-shaped main pushrim and a separate, customizable thumb piece. This specialized profile optimizes the contact area for your fingers, palm, and thumb, which dramatically reduces the muscular gripping effort needed to propel your wheelchair. Using these rims helps eliminate tire-pushing, minimizes hand fatigue, and reduces stress across sensitive nerves to alleviate long-term joint pain in your wrists and shoulders.

Flexible Mounting Positions

All Natural-Fit models feature a standard multi-point tab mounting system. This configuration allows you to completely adjust the lateral track width of your chair during installation to meet your specific physical needs:

• Mounted In (Narrow Setting): Brings the handrim tight against the wheel rim, keeping your chair as narrow as possible to easily slide through slim doorways and tight indoor hallways.

• Mounted Out (Wide Setting): Adjusts the handrim outward, widening your overall profile and providing significantly more thumb and finger clearance between the pushrim and the tire.

The Natural-Fit line is divided into two primary sizing frameworks (Original and LT), each available with different grip textures for the thumb piece to maximize braking and pushing control.

Once you select your core model (Standard or LT), you can customize the separate thumb piece based on your friction and propulsion preferences:
